SSC2009 is only 61 day’s away.

If you haven’t put it in your diary, do it now!!

Only 61 day’s to go before this year’s prestigious spatial industry conference kicks off. There has been a lot of interest from the industry regarding international guest speakers, the special symposiums streams, refereed papers and posters. Furthermore there has been an overwhelming interest in the Map Competition from our professional industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work to the rest of the industry. It’s FREE TO ENTER and special prizes will be awarded in three categories.

There will be four major social events during the week, which you will not want to miss.
The Welcome Night – A great way to meet your professional colleagues in the exhibition hall.
Gala Dinner – Celebrating diversity in our industry over fabulous food and wine from South Australia
Young Professional Cocktail Evening – An opportunity to catch-up with our future professionals
Women In Spatial Breakfast
– Find out the secret to succeed from an international speaker

There are still places in our workshop program. If you wish to expand your knowledge and share ideas, attend one or more of the unique workshops in the two days leading up to the conference. You may be interested in finding out how to work ‘GPS in GIS’, ‘Object Based Image Analysis Theory’ or ‘3D Visualisation’. Download the registration brochure to find out more, or keep an eye out for more workshops and user groups coming soon on the SSC09 website.

Remember if you are bringing your partner or family. There are several tours available through the conference or make your way to SA Tourism to find out what’s happening in Adelaide and the nearby hills.
